Seven - An Update

I posted a glowing review a few months ago regarding Seven's transition into brotherhood. While that remains mostly true, he did stage a formal protest last weekend when all the two-leggers in the family went out to dinner without him.

I believe the incident to be a warning, as it's just a magazine- not our wedding album or anything. Seven just wanted to give us a taste of the destruction he will rain down upon us if we get too socially active for his taste. Needless to say we will not be vacationing any time soon.

Brady at 3 Months

It really hit home that December had passed in a flash when I realized that there is only one post in between 'Brady at 2 Months' and 'Brady at 3 Months'!  Another example that December got away from me would be that I mailed our Christmas cards today, January 7.  Whoops.

At three months, Brady has magically transformed from a newborn into a baby.  Seemingly overnight he has become aware of the world around him.  He loves to lay on his back in the middle of the living room and just stare around.  It must be pretty incredible to realize that the world does not consist solely of faces that pop in and out of your vision at random.  In response to this new world, Brady has started 'talking' to us, especially when he's on his back looking around, as though he's keeping a running commentary on what he sees.  Our little guy is not a big fan of tummy time, but he's strong and can hold himself up well.  His hatred of tummy time served him well this past weekend - he was so determined to end it that he rolled himself over.

In other news, Brady has discovered his hands.  He finds them enchanting and delicious - particularly the thumb, as seen in this outtake from his recent '3 Month' photo shoot.
